Do some bands create original gig posters for each city/gig?
it is Very common, it happens mostly in bigger citys where it is easier to promote the concert like this. They are put on display because with everything going on in a city they can still advertise and sell out.

I could tell you but it might be against the Yahoo Answers rules. What I can say is to search artists web sites. They sometimes sell posters as well as original works of art. Good luck. fineartbystroup....
Do you every buy original art or just live with posters?
Buy original art when you can - it's so much more exciting having the real thing. You can often find very affordable art at art fairs, art exhibitions, community galleries, student art shows. So to answer your question - no, I won't live with posters...
